"This way, Charlie" is a favorite pick of mine as one of the best kid's books I've ever found! Levis & Santoso create a story and illustrations together that stun me! It's a gorgeous book.
Jack, a goat who has anxiety and distrust in his life, due to very bad things that happened, needs a friend, and he finds that in Charlie, a blind horse. Their friendship develops into a beautiful story, and Jack finds healing. It's a wonderful story for children (and adults!) as a way to talk about anxiety, trust, and how to communicate when scary things happen.
